Introduction

The Sekumpul Waterfall is an hour drive from the city center of Munduk and probably the hardest fall in this Bali Waterfall Route to get to. It’s not entirely unknown, but it’s a little dislocated which keeps the crowds away. The hike down is 40 minutes at least and along the most incredible rice field views and this waterfall is Bali’s best.

Places of interest will be visited

Sekumpul Water Fall

Sekumpul Waterfall is one of Bali’s most scenic natural attractions. The waterfall is actually a cluster of six to seven narrow cascades that form the centerpiece of a lush green bamboo forested valley. You can reach the falls on a nature trek through the village of Sekumpul, which is located in upland region of the Buleleng regency in North Bali. The village is within an hour’s drive southeast from Lovina Beach.

Twin Lake

Twin Lake is located in Sukasada Village, Buleleng Regency. Travelers wanting to experience the wild rainforests of Bali's central highlands will make the trek to Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan. The two crater lakes are located within the caldera of extinct Bedugul volcano. They were a single lake until 1800; a landslide separated the lake into two lakes, and a narrow land bridge of less than a mile width divides them.

Ulun Danu Temple

The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex located on the western side of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is actually a favorite cool upland weekend and holiday retreat for locals and island visitors alike from the southern and urban areas, as it is strategically located, connecting the island’s north and south. The smooth reflective surface of the lake surrounding most of the temple’s base creates a unique floating impression, while the mountain range of the Bedugul region encircling the lake provides the temple with a scenic backdrop.
